Projects & Events – Our Horizons

The school is a place of openness. In the coming months, we will take music beyond our walls to engage with the local neighborhood. Our projects aim to make art a driving force for sharing and discovery for the entire community.

1. Concerts at the heart of the village:

Sparking curiosity. Because trust is built through sharing, we will invite professional musicians and guest speakers to perform for free in the heart of Stung Meanchey. These musical moments will allow families and residents to become familiar with the instruments taught at the school and to share a common experience with the students.

2. Master classes and Workshops:

We will host local and international artists for discovery workshops. These sessions will focus on direct exchange: for our students, it is a unique opportunity to observe seasoned musicians and fuel their own motivation.

3. Solidarity Event:

Concert in Asfeld (France) On April 17, 2026, solidarity will cross borders. While Cambodia celebrates its New Year, an exceptional concert will be held in Asfeld to support the school's development. Choosing this date of renewal to amplify our students' voices is a powerful symbol: that of a future written together through music. This event will be essential for bringing our supporters together and securing the resources necessary for our young apprentices' progress.

4. The Kep–Phnom Penh Exchange:

A horizon of sharing To mark the end of this first school year, a major project will bring together Emma for Cambodia and the Kep Educational Center (CEK). More than just a trip, this is a cultural meeting between the children of Stung Meanchey and those of Kep. On the program for this solidarity stay:

  • Shared Stage : A highlight of the trip, where our apprentice musicians will perform a mini-concert for the students of CEK, who will welcome them in return with a traditional dance performance.
  • Heritage and Discovery : From boat trips at sea to visiting the region's pepper plantations, the children will discover the natural and cultural richness of the coast.
  • Living Together : Friendly football tournaments and traditional games will provide opportunities to forge lasting bonds of friendship.

This project, endorsed by our patron, Princess Sylvia Sisowath, is a joint initiative between the two associations. It serves as a reward for the diligence and commitment our students show every day at school.
